Adventure Description
Join us as we explore two of Banff’s famous lakes: Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. On this adventure, you’ll have two hours at each lake to enjoy the spectacular blue-green waters, take in the towering mountainscapes or rent a canoe and explore the lakes from a unique perspective. We’ll continue our adventure onto our favourite easy hike at the beautiful Marble Canyon. Located in the lesser known Kootenay National Park, this hike features a series of bridges criss-crossing over a beautiful ancient canyon. Look down from the bridges to see thousands of years of nature at work, as rushing water filled with glacial minerals has carved the canyon from stone since the end of the last ice age. This short 1km hike ends in a roaring waterfall, with a final chance to really take in your surroundings and remember everything you experienced for the day. This adventure is perfect for everyone! It allows enough time to fully experience everything at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, without time wasted trying to organize a shuttle. Marble Canyon is the perfect alternative for anyone interested in hiking Johnston Canyon, but not wanting to be surrounded by but not wanting to be surrounded by people! Everyone of all fitness levels will enjoy this adventure. Tour Inclusions: • Safe round-trip transportation from Canmore & Banff • Small group guarantee (12 person maximum) • Comfortable 15-passenger van with A/C • Free water refills (bring your own bottle) • Hot drinks & homemade snacks • Cooler for your food & drinks • 2 hours at each lake • 1 hour to explore Marble Canyon • Complimentary blankets and headlamps • Friendly, local guide for the day! Please note: the tour time listed upon booking is the pick-up time for all Canmore locations. Pick-ups at all Banff Hotels will occur 30 minutes after the listed time. Please arrive to your selected location 10 minutes early. If you have any questions about your pick-up time & location, please reach out by email. Minimum of four people required to run the tour. If the minimum number is not met, the tour will be cancelled and you will be refunded 48 hours prior to your tour departure.
Cancellation Policy
We have a 48 hour stress free cancellation or change policy for scheduled small group tours. Get in touch with us via email or phone at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure time to cancel or make changes. All cancellations are subject to a 5% fee to cover costs incurred at the time of your booking. Any cancellation requests received within 48 hours will not be rescheduled or refunded. No shows will be charged the full amount. Group bookings of 6 or more guests, as well as any private tour bookings will receive a full refund minus a 5% deposit if the cancellation request is made at least two weeks prior to your scheduled departure. Cancellation requests made at least one week in advance will receive a 50% refund. Cancellation requests received within one week of departure will be charged the full amount. All of our public group tours have a minimum participant requirement. In the event that we need to cancel your tour due to minimums not being met we will contact you at least 48 hours in advance of your tour to offer alternate dates, or a full refund.
