TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS POLICY: Banff Alpenglow Adventures is the operating name for 2577346 ALBERTA LTD. The purchase of a Banff Alpenglow Adventures tour constitutes an agreement between you and Banff Alpenglow Adventures. By booking a tour you are acknowledging that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions. If booking for others you are confirming that you have authority to agree to these terms and conditions on their behalf, and by agreeing to these terms and conditions you are making a binding agreement on their behalf. If the participant is under the age of 18 it will be assumed that the consent has been given by the adult that completed the booking and agreed to the terms and conditions.

  2. PRICES AND PAYMENTS: All prices shown are in Canadian dollars and are subject to a 5% GST Tax that will be added to your booking at checkout. All payments are processed through a secure checkout system.

  3. CANCELATION POLICY: As a small company, we are unable to provide refunds for cancellations. We operate rain or shine, so the tour will always run. If you have any questions about your situation, please call or email us to discuss options. We will do our best to accommodate re-scheduling. If you need to move your tour to a different day, please email us at yourfriends@banffalpenglowadventures.com. We are only able to switch to a different date if there are already available seats. We will not be able to process requests less than 48 hours in advance of your tour date.

  4. TRAVEL TIME: While we do our best to ensure tours run on time, delays are always possible due to traffic, adverse weather, or other factors out of your guides control. Please account for a little extra time in your schedule for these potential delays. 

  5. LATE/ NO SHOW POLICY: Guests are asked to arrive at the pickup point at least 5 minutes prior to the pickup time for their chosen pickup point. Due to the time sensitive nature of our tours, if your entire party is not ready for departure at the scheduled time in your booking, we will not be able to wait and you will be counted as a no show, in which case no refund or rebooking will be available. If you have issues getting to your pickup point and are able to provide notice, we may be able to direct you to another pickup location or wait for you, however no guarantees can be made. You are responsible for arriving back at the shuttle before the scheduled departure time at each stop of the tour. Cell service is not always reliable so we ask that all guests pay attention to where the meeting point is and at what time you are scheduled to be back. If you miss any departures times you will be required to find a way back at your own expense and Banff Alpenglow Adventures will provide no reimbursement for tour or additional transportation costs. 

  6. CANCELLED TOURS (BY US): We have no minimum guest requirements for our tours, and we run regardless of weather. However, in the event of illness or severe weather events we may be forced to cancel a tour. If your tour is cancelled we will strive to provide as much notice as possible and work with you to find an alternative date that may work for you. If no available dates work for you a full refund will be provided in the event that your tour is cancelled by us. These obligations are not applicable in the case of Force Majeure. 

  7. SEATING: Your ticket guarantees you a seat on our van for the day of your tour, however choice of seat is on a first come first serve basis. If you have any additional needs regarding mobility, motion sickness, etc, please reach out to yourfriends@banffalpenglowadventures.com and we will do our best to accommodate. 

  8. LUGGAGE POLICY/ WHAT TO BRING: Space can be tight in the van so for everyone’s comfort we limit guests to a small backpack that you would be comfortable having on your lap or at your feet. Mobility devices can always be accommodated, however additional bags are subject to space availability. Banff Alpenglow Adventures takes no responsibility for lost or damaged items. Guests are prohibited from carrying weapons, firearms, ammunition, incendiary devices, explosive, flammable, hazardous, illegal, or radioactive materials or other potentially dangerous items.

  9. PETS: Pets cannot be accommodated on our tours. Service animals are always welcome but we would appreciate you letting us know so we can be prepared to accommodate.

  10. CHILD POLICY: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Banff Alpenglow Adventures does not have child safety seats. Children under 40lbs or under age 6 will not be able to join our tours. If your child aged 7-12 can ride in a car with a regular seatbelt, they are welcome to come on tour.

  11. FORCE MAJEURE: If Banff Alpenglow Adventures is prevented or restricted from carrying out any and all obligations under these terms and conditions for reasons outside the control of Banff Alpenglow Adventures for reasons such as but not limited to; war, riot, lockouts, fire, explosion, floods, and any acts of God. In the event of any of these circumstances, Banff Alpenglow Adventures will be relieved of any and all obligations for the period of the Force Majeure event. 

  12. APPLICABLE LAWS: This contract is subject to the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes made against this contract must be made in the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

  13. PRIVACY POLICY: Banff Alpenglow Adventures may use media collected on tour for promotional purposes. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are agreeing to appear in media used for social media and promotional purposes. If you see a picture on any of our accounts of you or your group that you would like taken down, let us know and we would be happy to accommodate. Banff Alpenglow Adventures collects personal details such as name, contact information, and address during the booking process. This information is used for billing purposes, and to make the check in process for our tours more streamlined. We will not release any information to outside parties and your information will be stored for record keeping purposes only. By using our booking site you are agreeing to the privacy policy of our hosting service WIX. That privacy policy can be found here.

  14. LIABILITY RELEASE: By booking a tour with Banff Alpenglow Adventures you are agreeing to these terms and conditions for yourself and on behalf of anyone else in your party. You understand that by agreeing to these terms and conditions you are releasing Banff Alpenglow Adventures and all its employees and agents from any and all liability or damages arising in any way from any of our services. You understand that the services and activities offered in these tours contain an inherent risk. These risky activities may result in death, personal injury, loss or damage to property, delays, inconvenience, extra costs or other losses. Banff Alpenglow Adventures, its employees, and associated agents, accept no liability for any loss or damage including but not limited to; injury, death, loss of personal effects or luggage, loss of revenue or profit, costs, expenses delays, inconvenience, loss of employment, or emotional turmoil, no matter the cause, regardless of any act, omission, or negligence of Banff Alpenglow Adventures, its employees, agents, or other guests. 

  15. INSURANCE: We strongly advise all participants to purchase travel medical/ cancelation insurance.
