Jeez Louise Winter Adventure
This adventure hits two of the most popular sites in Banff.
Starting the day off at Lake Louise, you will have the opportunity to hike, snowshoe on the nearby trails, or grab a hot chocolate from your guide and find a good spot to take in the views. You may even be able to try out skating on the world famous lake!
From Lake Louise we will join the Bow Valley Parkway. This scenic road follows the bow river and the iconic CPR line, offering a more laid-back drive, stopping at some of our favorite viewpoints in Banff.
Now it's time to hike! We'll arrive at Johnston Canyon, grab our ice cleats and get ready to wander through an ancient canyon. The trail stops at a tunnel to a stunning frozen waterfall.There is an option to continue the hike to the Upper Falls too! (5.5km, 274m) / (2.3km, 105m)
For guests who don't want to hike as far, we can visit Marble Canyon in Kootenay National Park. This trail criss crosses another canyon, taking your breath away as you peer down into the canyon and finish at a waterfall. (1.4km, 50m)

Sit back and enjoy the 360 degree mountain views while your guide safely navigates the snowy mountain roads providing a local insight to the area and answering any questions you have along the way.
Johnston Canyon - 90-120 minutes
Your guide will help you get geared up and comfortable for the trail ahead. Ice cleats and hiking poles will be provided as needed and we will make sure you know how to use them! The Johnston Canyon trail is well travelled year round meaning it is fairly safe to travel at any time of year, as long as you're prepared for icy/ cold conditions, which we will do our best to help with!
Lake Louise - 120 minutes
Discover what makes this Icon of the Rockies at least as breathtaking in the winter as it is in the summer! Snowshoeing, ice skating, hiking, and ice sculpture enjoyment are just a few of the available activities, your guide will work with you and your group to make the most of your time here. Activities vary based on snow/ ice conditions.
